This year abstracts have been accepted from lead authors Gail Distefano, Clara Navarro, Matt Bolt and Victoria Moore who are all members of the radiotherapy department based in St Luke’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. The work has been accepted for presentation at the UK Imaging & Oncology (UKIO) conference.

Contributions for this work came from the wider physics team including Prof. Andy Nisbet (Head of Medical physics), Dr Chris South (Head of Treatment planning), Dr Catharine Clark (Joint post with NPL) and many others from the wider team and the University of Surrey.

A wide range of work will be presented by the department including; potential efficiency savings on daily QA of a linear accelerator, assessment of the auto-segmentation tools – Velocity and Mirada, assessment of delivered dose to the CTV for cervical cancer based on daily cone-beam CT (CBCT) acquisitions, and developments in the UK provision of stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR) based on the SABR consortium survey.
