Research in the Medical Physics Department
The Department is research active holding a number of research grants and maintaining a significant research output in terms of publications and presentations at major national and international conferences.
It has close links with the University of Surrey in a number of different areas including the Department of Physics (https://www.surrey.ac.uk/department-physics) and the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (https://www.surrey.ac.uk/centre-vision-speech-signal-processing).
It also has close links with the National Physical Laboratory, Metrology for Medical Physics Centre including a number of joint posts in radiotherapy and nuclear medicine (http://www.npl.co.uk/memphys/)
