In a UK first the Royal Surrey have treated their 5000th patient using radioactive prostate seeds in May 2022.

Over the years the team have developed their own hybrid technique known as “4D brachytherapy” which involves producing a plan in real-time during a theatre session, ensuring the patient receives the optimal dose distribution based on the prostate shape and size on that day.
