A new 3D printer has been installed in the radiotherapy department.
Mark Long and Matt Bolt are leading the introduction of the new technology to help in treating disease close to the skin with radiotherapy. This innovative technology will help increase the accuracy and effectiveness of the radiotherapy treatments received by the patients.
The department will be using the bespoke Adaptiiv software to develop the custom printed applicators for each patient.
