Posts Held

Ken Young has been the Consultant Physicist in charge of the National Coordinating Centre for the Physics of Mammography since 1990, and Visiting Professor of Medical Physics at the University of Surrey since 2006. From 2007 to 2014 he was also the Director of Research at the Royal Surrey County Hospital . He has played a leading role in developing the technical standards for mammography in the UK and the rest of Europe and has published widely on the physics of breast cancer imaging with X-rays.
