Matt Pryor

Completing both undergraduate and post graduate degrees in medical physics from the University of Surrey, Matt was the first undergraduate to take a year out of his studies and work within this department. This has led to over 30 continuous years and 30+ students completing this 12 month placement and leading to a significant number of student’s choosing medical physics as their career path.

As a certified RPA, RWA and MPE Matt spends a significant proportion of his time supporting clients who work with open and sealed sources of ionising radiation, often liaising with regulators and inspectors as well as trying to keep his hand in with some QA testing and auditing.

Personally Matt spend the majority of his evenings and weekends as a taxi driver to his two children who play far too many sports in their spare time, or trying to be a linesman (badly he is told) at his sons football matches.
