I am a Consultant Clinical Scientist and a Deputy Head of Nuclear Medicine Physics at the Royal Surrey NHS FT, with a particular focus on Nuclear Medicine Diagnostics. I graduated from the University of Warwick with an undergraduate Masters in physics in 2009 and I obtained a post graduate Masters in medical physics in 2012. I joined the Royal Surrey NHS FT in the 2010 where I completed rotations in the Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy and Radiation Protection Departments before specialising in Nuclear Medicine 2012. I completed the Institute of Physics in Engineering in Medicine medical physics training scheme in 2013 and became a state registered Clinical Scientist, then went on to become a Medical Physics Expert. I started the Higher Specialist Scientist Training scheme in 2015, combining academic leadership and physics work at the Universities of Manchester and Liverpool, with work-based training. I completed the training in 2021, obtaining a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Science. My current role focusses on the development and delivery of safe and effective Nuclear Medicine diagnostics services.
