Jordan Bravery
Jordan completed a BSc in Physics with Astronomy at the University of Surrey, achieving a first class with honours upon graduating in 2020. He returned to the Royal Surrey Foundation Trust as a Radiotherapy Dosimetrist in the same year, having completed a placement year in the department from 2018-19 as part of the BSc. Jordan started the STP in 2022, gaining HCPC registration and an MSc with distinction in Medical Physics from King’s College London in 2025. Through the MSc project, he developed and tested an in-house system for 3D automated EQD2 calculation and summation which was then used to audit manual previous-treatment calculation quality in the department.
Since then, Jordan has continued to work as part of the RSFT’s Radiotherapy Physics Department as a Registered Clinical Scientist. Beyond working as a member of the Dosimetry, Treatment Planning and Brachytherapy sections; Jordan has been an integral part of the Eclipse Scripting and QATrack Development teams since 2018, creating apps for datamining, planning-automation and previous-dose calculation. Current projects involve the use of C#, Python, PowerApps, and Power Automate.
