I completed a Master of Physics degree at Oxford University in 2003, which was followed by a PhD in Physics at Cambridge University which I completed in 2007. Following that I worked for 3 years in the defence industry as an Optical Physicist and Consultant, simultaneously obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Management. I began working as a Trainee Clinical Scientist specialising in Nuclear Medicine Physics in 2010 at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. This included doing an MSc in Physics and Engineering in Medicine from University College London. I have recently completed my Clinical Scientist training and have worked at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in the Nuclear Medicine department since late 2017.
