University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her  current research interests are in evaluating breast Tomosynthesis, non  FDG radiotracers in cancer, and breast MRI. She is interested in using  imaging to gain a better understanding of tumour physiology. I have worked in the UK, Singapore, France, Sweden and Russia.  For the last four decades, my research has been mainly in cancer  epidemiology, prevention and screening. I worked on the pioneering  Swedish Two-County Trial of breast cancer screening, on which the UK&#8217;s  national breast screening programme was based. She\u2019s a consultant and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King\u2019s College  Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and King\u2019s College, London. She works in  both the NHS breast screening programme (NHSBSP) and the symptomatic  breast service. I have chaired breast cancer and imaging boards and  participated in standard settings for breast cancer and screening  including NHSBSP and NICE.  <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Collaborator: Dr Yan Chen<\/strong><br>Loughborough Associate Professor of Cancer Screening at Division of Cancer and Stem Cell, School of Medicine at University of Nottingham. <br>She has been deeply involved in further studying the performance of radiologists in breast screening, working directly for the National NHS Breast Screening Programme. Her expertise focuses on how to improve the radiological identification of early breast cancer using digital mammography. It concentrates upon the potential use of eye movement information for future training in interpreting mammograms and the use of computer-based interpretation training using low-cost and hand-held devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Principle Investigator, Bristol: Dr Alexandra Valencia<\/strong><br>Consultant Radiologist with a Specialist Interest in all aspects of Breast Imaging and Breast Intervention including screening and symptomatic patients, stereocore biopsies and excisions, Breast MRI, MR guided biopsies and CT staging. She is the Clinical Director Avon Breast Screening Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Principle Investigator, Leeds: Dr Nisha Sharma<\/strong><br>Interests include Breast Radiology, in particular the role of imaging in diagnosing and managing breast disease. I am developing a keen interest in doing research. I am also involved in the teaching programme for breast through the radiology academy.
