The database also allows users to upload the data from a dose audit of breast screening or other mammography examinations.

The users first upload the output and half value layer data for the system and then the patient data (kV, mAs, Anode/Filter etc). The system will check the data and produce a report (see graph, as an example) for that system. It can compare the mean glandular dose results to others within the department and/or nationally.

The data can also be included in the national dose audits that NCCPM runs on the behalf NHSBSP.

The mean glandular doses can be calculated for the current Dance model or the new EFOMP/AAPM282 model. The system will operate for 2D, tomosynthesis and contrast enhanced mammography.
