Biography

(Victor) Shing Cheung Lee is a Principal clinical Scientist, who specializes in radiotherapy treatment planning and brachytherapy at Royal Surrey County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He originally completed a BSc (Hons) Radiotherapy undergraduate degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2002 and following this, he has completed a Masters degree in Radiotherapy & Oncology at Sheffield Hallam University in 2009. He has also completed an IPEM accredit MSc in Medical Physics and Bioengineering at University College London in 2012. He completed his clinical scientist training & attained the Association of Clinical Scientist (ACS) certificate in 2016 and also registered as clinical scientist with HCPC. In 2018, he was appointed as a member of the Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group (CTRad) which is helping researchers to apply for radiotherapy related clinical trials funding by giving them advice regarding their trials designs, methodologies and impact to the clinics. Recently, he has just been awarded HEE/NIHR ICA Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship 2019.
